Lillycover Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) values your personal information and complies with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection.
Through this Privacy Policy, we inform you of how your personal information is used and what measures are being taken to protect it.

■ Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods
A. Items of Personal Information Collected
The Company collects the following personal information for purposes such as membership registration, consultation, and service application:

  • When signing up: Name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home phone number, mobile phone number, email address, and for users under 14, the legal guardian’s information

  • When applying for services: Address, payment information

  • When applying for the waiting service: Mobile phone number

In the course of using the service or processing business, the following information may be generated and collected: service usage records, access logs, cookies, IP addresses, payment records, and records of improper use.
B. Methods of Collection

  • Website, written forms, bulletin boards, email, event entries, delivery requests, phone, fax, and information collection tools

■ Purpose of Collecting and Using Personal Information
The Company uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:

  • Performance of Service Contracts and Fee Settlement: Providing content, processing purchases and payments, delivering goods or invoices, identity verification for financial transactions, and providing financial services

  • Member Management: Identity verification for membership-based services, personal identification, prevention of unauthorized use by delinquent members, verification of intent to join, age verification, confirmation of legal guardian’s consent for children under 14, complaint handling, and delivery of notices

  • Marketing and Advertising: Delivering promotional information, analyzing access frequency, compiling statistics on service usage

  • Service Updates and Legal Notices: Providing information on service progress, contract fulfillment, and updates to terms and conditions

■ Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use is achieved. However, the following information may be retained for a specified period for the reasons listed below:
A. Retention by Internal Policy
Even after membership withdrawal, user information may be retained for 3 years to prevent fraudulent reuse by delinquent members, resolve disputes, or cooperate with investigations upon official request.
B. Retention According to Relevant Laws
When necessary under relevant laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company retains member information for a legally defined period as follows:

  • Records on contracts or withdrawal of subscriptions: 5 years

  • Records on payments and supply of goods: 5 years

  • Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

  • Access logs: 3 months (per the Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

■ Personal Information Destruction Procedures and Methods
The Company destroys personal information promptly after the purpose of collection and use is achieved.
Destruction Procedures
Information entered by members is transferred to a separate database (or stored physically in case of paper documents) after the purpose is achieved. It is stored for a period in accordance with internal policy and applicable laws, then destroyed. Information transferred to the separate database is not used for any other purposes unless required by law.
Destruction Methods
Personal information in electronic form is deleted using technical methods that prevent record recovery.

■ Provision of Personal Information
The Company does not provide personal information to external parties without the user's consent, except in the following cases:

  • When the user has given prior consent

  • When required by law or requested by an investigative agency following the legal process

■ Entrustment of Collected Personal Information
To provide smooth services, the Company outsources the following operations to specialized companies:

  • CJ Logistics: Delivery services

  • KG Inicis: Integrated payment processing

  • NHN Data Corp.: Log analysis services

  • Kakao Corp.: KakaoTalk notification messages

Retention and Use Period: Until membership withdrawal or termination of the entrustment agreement

 

 

■ Rights of Users and Legal Guardians and How to Exercise Them

  • Users can view or modify their registered personal information at any time and may request to cancel their membership.

  • To view or modify personal information, click "Edit Personal Information" (or "Update Member Info"). To cancel membership, click "Withdraw Membership" and complete the identity verification process.

  • Alternatively, you may contact the personal information protection officer via writing, phone, or email, and the Company will respond without delay.

  • If you request correction of an error in your personal information, it will not be used or provided until the correction is completed. If incorrect information was already provided to a third party, the Company will notify them promptly of the correction.

  • Personal information that is deleted or withdrawn upon user request is handled according to the retention policy above and cannot be accessed or used for any other purpose.

■ Use of Cookies and Refusal
The Company uses “cookies” to store and retrieve your information from time to time. A cookie is a small text file sent by the server operating the website to your browser and stored on your computer hard disk.
Purpose of Cookies

  1. To analyze visit frequency and time for members and non-members, identify user preferences and interests, track browsing, and provide personalized services and targeted marketing based on event participation and visit counts

  2. You have the option to accept or decline cookies. You can set your browser to allow all cookies, to ask each time a cookie is saved, or to refuse all cookies.
